OIL CHANGES -- Oil changes are one of the services we provide at Ridge Line Auto & Tire. Please inquire about the oil and filter appropriate for your car. Different cars have different requirements and we ask that you tell us the year, make and model when you contact the shop. Routine oil service is important and should not be forgotten between visits. Please consult your vehicle's maintenance schedule and contact us about making arrangements for service.

BRAKES -- Brake inspections and brake repair are available. If you have noticed squeaking or grinding, or a change in the way the brake pedal feels, please describe it when you contact us. There may be more than one reason for a noise, so the vehicle needs to be checked before a repair recommendation is made. Please do not assume that a noise will go away on its own. Tell us when it happens and how long you have noticed it.

DIAGNOSTICS / CHECK-ENGINE LIGHT -- If your check-engine light has come on, please contact us about diagnostic service. A warning light by itself does not tell the whole story. Reading a code is part of finding out what is happening, not a complete repair. Let us know about any other changes you have noticed in the way the vehicle starts, runs or drives. We will explain what we find after checking the vehicle.

TIRES & ROTATION -- Tires and tire rotations are available at our shop. We can check tire wear and discuss replacement tires with you. Regular rotations help manage tire wear, but the correct schedule depends on the vehicle and the tires. Please have your vehicle information ready when you contact us. We can discuss your needs after checking the condition of your current tires.

BATTERIES -- Battery testing and replacement are available. Slow starting can have more than one cause, so we check before recommending a replacement. Please tell us if the problem happens every morning or only sometimes, and whether you have noticed any other electrical problems. A look at the battery and charging system helps us explain the next step.

SCHEDULED MAINTENANCE -- We provide scheduled maintenance based on the vehicle's mileage and maintenance schedule. Bring any service records you have so we can discuss what has already been done. If you are unsure what is due, please ask. We will explain the recommended work rather than leave you guessing about a list of unfamiliar service names.

FREE DIGITAL INSPECTION REPORT BY TEXT -- Please ask about having your inspection report sent by text. Photos and notes show what we find. Read the report and contact the shop with questions.
